Optometrist
Brian K. Kuhlman, O.D. received his Doctoral Degree from the Ohio State University, where he also obtained his undergraduate degree. During his training, Dr. Kuhlman completed his Externship at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. Upon graduation, he completed a 13-month post-Doctoral Residency at CEI, focusing on the management of ocular disease.
Dr. Kuhlman is certified by the International Board of Optometric Examiners in the treatment and management of ocular disease. He previously served as a Professor of Clinical Optometry at the Ohio State University College of Optometry and is a member of the American Optometric Association and Cincinnati Optometric Association.
He is active in the community, having given various presentations on the importance of eye health to local elementary schools and volunteering his time performing vision exams for Prevent Blindness Ohio. Dr Kuhlman also practices at Cincinnati Eye Institute (CEI) with a focus on cataracts and glaucoma.
When not working, Dr. Kuhlman enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.

Kevin T. Corcoran, O.D. earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Physiological Optics, as well as his Doctorate of Optometry from Ohio State University. He completed his Residency at Veteran’s Administration Medical Center in Cleveland and is certified by the International Board of Optometric Examiners in the treatment and management of ocular disease.
Dr. Corcoran is the Director of Optometric Services at the Cincinnati Eye Institute and is a Clinical Associate Professor at Ohio State University College of Optometry. He also directs an accredited postgraduate residency in ocular disease in affiliation with Ohio State University College of Optometry. His practice emphasizes routine eye care, dry eye, binocular dysfunction and eye diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, diabetes, macular degeneration and urgent eye care. Dr. Corcoran is involved in numerous clinical research projects that evaluate the efficiency of new ophthalmic instruments and pharmaceutical agents.
Dr. Corcoran is active in teaching, publishing and producing videos. He has published scientific articles, produced numerous educational videos and is involved in state, national and international continuing education programs.
Dr. Corcoran is also a member of the American Optometric Association, the American Academy of Optometry as well as the Cincinnati Optometric Association (past Zone Governor). He is also active in the Ohio Optometric Association, which honored him with the Outstanding Service Award, as well as the Warren G. Morris Ohio Optometrist of the Year Award. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.
Dr. Corcoran has been practicing at Cincinnati Eye Institute (CEI) since 1984. He also served as a vision consultant to the University of Cincinnati Bearcats.

Young Optometrist of the Year Award – Maryland Optometric Association
William R. Davis, O.D. is a native of Cincinnati. He graduated from Miami University and The Ohio State University, College of Optometry with honors. He completed a hospital-based residency program in ocular disease at the Baltimore VA Medical Center and Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Davis is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, a member of the American Optometric Association, and member of the Ohio Optometric Association. He previously served as Education Chair and was awarded Young Optometrist of the Year by the Maryland Optometric Association.
Dr. Davis has presented research at major professional meetings and contributed to the published vision science literature. He has received honors, awards and certifications from The Vincent J. Ellerbrock Memorial Award for Vision Science Research, Maryland State Board of Optometry, District of Columbia Board of Optometry, and National Board of Examiners in Optometry.
Dr. Davis also practices at Cincinnati Eye Institute. In his free-time, he enjoys spending time with his family, running, and coaching his son’s various sports teams.
