Dr. Kevin T. Corcoran
Kevin T. Corcoran, O.D. earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Physiological Optics, as well as his Doctorate of Optometry from The Ohio State University. He completed his Residency at the Veteran’s Administration Medical Center in Cleveland and is certified by the International Board of Optometric Examiners in the treatment and management of ocular disease.
Dr Corcoran is the Director of Optometric Services at CEI and is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Ohio State University College of Optometry. He directs an accredited postgraduate Residency in ocular disease in affiliation with Ohio State University College of Optometry. His practice focuses on eye disease such as glaucoma, cataracts, diabetes, macular degeneration and urgent eye care. Dr. Corcoran is involved in numerous clinical research projects that evaluate the efficiency of new ophthalmic instruments and pharmaceutical agents.
Dr. Corcoran is a member of the American Optometric Association, the American Academy of Optometry, the Cincinnati Optometric Association (past Zone Governor). He is active in the Ohio Optometric Association, which honored him with the Outstanding Service Award in 1989, as well as, the Warren G. Morris Ohio Optometrist of the Year Award in 1994.
Dr. Brian K. Kuhlman
Brian K. Kuhlman,O.D. received his Doctoral Degree from The Ohio State University. During his training, Dr. Kuhlman completed his Externship at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. Upon graduation, he completed a 13 month post-Doctoral Residency at the Cincinnati Eye Institute, focusing on the management of ocular disease. He currently still sees glaucoma and cataract patients at CEI when not at the private practice.
Dr. Kuhlman is certified by the International Board of Optometric Examiners in the treatment and management of ocular disease. He has served as a Professor of Clinical Optometry at the Ohio State University College of Optometry and is a member of the American Optometric Association and Cincinnati Optometric Association.
He enjoys spending time with his wife and two lovely daughters.
Dr. William R. Davis
William R. Davis, O.D., M.S. was born and raised in Cincinnati. He graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and The Ohio State University, College of Optometry. During his training he completed an externship at the Dayton VA Medical center in Dayton, Ohio. He also conducted research and earned a Master of Vision Science degree through The OSU Graduate Program. After graduation, he completed a hospital-based residency program in ocular disease at the Baltimore VA Medical Center and Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. After his training, Dr. Davis practiced with a large, multi-subspecialty group near Washington, D.C. for 9 years. There he practiced comprehensive optometry, fit contact lenses on patients with irregular corneas, and co-managed surgical patients. He moved with his wife and children back to Cincinnati in 2012 to be close to family.
Dr. Davis is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Ohio Optometric Association, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. He also staffs the Urgent Care Clinic at the Cincinnati Eye Institute and sees patients in the Glaucoma and Retina Services.
Dr. Davis has presented research and clinical topics at several major professional meetings and contributed to the published vision science literature. He has received honors, awards and certifications from the Vicent J. Ellerbrock Memorial Award for Vision Science Research, National Board of Examiners in Optometry and the American Board of Optometry. He has served as chair of the Maryland Optometric Association Board of Continuing Education and received the Maryland Young Optometrist of the Year Award.
